Situated conveniently in Whitchurch town centre, Little Bears offers easy access to local shops, parks, and community hubs. Our close proximity to local schools also ensures a smooth transition for families with older children, making drop-offs and pick-ups stress-free.

Our premises

We are located in an old school building called Brownlow Community Centre, this centre was donated to the people of Whitchurch by Lord Brownlow 1982 as a “community centre for uses that would enhance the quality of their lives”. Princess Ann opened the centre in the early 80's.

We share this building with many other users, but Little Bears have sole use of 3 front rooms and the hall 5 days a week 7.30am till 6pm for 11 years now. 

Our 3 rooms Bear Cubs, Koala Bears & Panda Bears are the old class rooms from the former Whitchurch Junior School. The rooms are large and have high ceilings and much needed space for the children, in 2018 the centre raised funds to have new windows, which has improved the rooms warmth and air supply in the summer. 

We have 3 outdoor area’s for our different age rooms which we are always improving throughout the seasons. 

Little Bears location is very handy to parents as we are in walking distance to town and our local schools.
